At Alloy Personal Training, we offer personalized, small-group training backed by science and delivered with a personal touch. Our unique system is designed to help clients of all fitness levels achieve real, sustainable results in a welcoming and professional environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and certified Part-Time Personal Trainer to lead small group personal training sessions and provide exceptional service to our members. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a structured environment, loves working with people, and is committed to helping others improve their health and fitness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold the mission and core values of Alloy in all interactions.

  • Coach clients using the Alloy personal training system in a 1:6 small-group format.

  • Arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled shift prepared to review sessions and client notes.

  • Wear Alloy uniform (black pants/shorts and approved logoed top) during all coaching shifts.

  • Cue up daily workout on TV and set up necessary equipment prior to session start.

  • Review and load client information into the Alloy app ahead of each shift.

  • Implement prescribed corrective exercises, modifications, and restrictions as directed by the Director of Training.

  • Promote the “message of the week” during all sessions.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment at all times.

  • Stay present on the training floor; assist with coaching, tidying, or engaging with clients if not leading a session.

  • Record client workouts and notes in the Alloy app after each session.

  • Check in/out clients using MindBody software and follow up with any no-shows.

  • Complete closing checklist tasks at the end of each shift.

  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and ongoing training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, etc.).

  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification (required).

  • 1+ year of experience as a personal trainer or in a related coaching role preferred.

  • Strong ability to coach all fitness levels and modify sessions as needed.

  • High energy, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for health and fitness.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.

  • Comfortable using apps and software (e.g., Alloy app, MindBody) to manage sessions and client data.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
