Job Description
Vaco Atlanta is hiring an Administrative Assistant to join a rapidly growing organization! This person will support the Human Resources Department by providing efficient, professional, and friendly service. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR team
- Maintain and audit personnel files and electronic records
- Process background checks, drug screens, I-9s, and employment verifications
- Assist with workers' compensation reporting, HRIS updates, status changes, and HR communications
- Serve as the point of contact for vendor maintenance and office equipment needs
- Track performance evaluations and send monthly reminders
- Greet visitors, answer phones, manage mail/faxes, and provide front-desk support
- Coordinate meetings, reserve rooms, arrange catering, and prepare meeting minutes
- Assist with research, invoices, projects, and wage/salary survey requests
- Order and manage office supplies and uphold confidentiality
Requirements:
- 3+ years of administrative, HR, or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and familiarity with Adobe
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Valid Notary Public or ability to obtain within six months is preferred
- Associate's degree in Business, HR, or related field is preferred
- Must be able to work onsite in Decatur,Ga
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
