Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail oncology pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Intake Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role requires a dedicated technician to efficiently manage patient profiles and process orders, ensuring smooth operation within a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include creating patient profiles and processing prescriptions promptly from electronic and fax sources. The technician will also handle requests for prescription refills and manage incoming documents from the fax server to support daily pharmacy workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate patient profiles
• Process electronic prescriptions and faxed orders efficiently
• Manage refill requests in a timely manner
• Handle incoming pharmacy-related documents and correspondence
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to facilitate prescription intake operations

Desired Qualifications:

• Pharmacy technician experience, particularly in intake processes
• Current registration as a pharmacy technician in the state of employment
• PTCB national certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM
