We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics for an immediate hire opportunity in Somerset NJ! A well-established manufacturing company is seeking skills maintenance mechanics looking for a long-term role, and earn a great paycheck, while utilizing your skilled experience!
Schedule:
- 6:00pm to 6:00am (Monday to Wednesday) (40 hours a week)
Competitive Compensation Offered!
- $30 - 35/hr (Based on experience)
(15% shift differential, and sign on bonuses!)
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on all production equipment and machinery.
- Perform emergency repairs on all production equipment and machinery.
- Conform to all procedures regarding spare parts usage.
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to any, and all OSHA and other safety requirements, i.e.: lockout/tagout.
- Perform all maintenance and repairs in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.
- Locates sources of problems by observing production equipment in operation.
- Maintain mechanical availability of all production equipment.
- Follow all manufactures recommended diagnostics procedures and PM schedules.
- Maintain a daily log of Preventive Maintenance and downtime through Computerized Maintenance Management System, Simplicity CMMS
- Maintain a daily report by EOD/end of day email report to Upper management.
- Assist the Parts Inventory Clerk with maintaining proper inventory quantities. Provide specs and info when sourcing parts for repairs and regular maintenance.
- Work with outside contractors during routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant situations.
- As required, will assist with installing new equipment, facility upgrades, perform repair work as needed and support production.
- Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness Programs.
- Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- Min 2-5 years of experience, ability to life 70lbs
- Electrical or mechanical equipment training a plus
- High School Graduate required. Vocational Degree Preferred
- Experience with a virtual work order and spare parts management system preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Task oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload
