Job Description

Join a dedicated team specializing in large-scale commercial services across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. As a Carpenter, you will engage in framing, insulation, drywall sheathing, finishing, and acoustics, contributing to high-quality construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build wall and ceiling structures and install insulation for surface preparation.
  • Hang drywall, tape, mud, sand, and ensure smooth surface finishes.
  • Work with FRP, EIFS, stucco, and metal panels for sheathing and exterior finishes.
  • Install suspended ceilings and acoustic panels.
  • Collaborate closely with foremen, drywall finishers, ceiling mechanics, and laborers.
  • Follow OSHA standards and maintain safe practices on job sites.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in drywall, framing, and sheathing.
  • Skilled in tool use, including hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and execute precise measurements.
  • Strong material knowledge and installation expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with painting and maintenance.
  • Aspiration to grow into a foreman role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
