Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for removing metal parts from metal skeletons to be sorted, counting parts accurately, documenting the results, and identifying the quality level of parts through visual examination. You will also be tasked with removing laser dross by manually scraping, sanding, or grinding.
Responsibilities
- Remove metal parts from a metal skeleton for sorting.
- Count parts accurately and document the results.
- Identify the quality level of parts through visual examination.
- Remove laser dross by scraping, sanding, or grinding.
- Perform repetitive lifting and motions to place and move parts.
- Potentially operate material handling equipment such as forklifts.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50lbs.
- 1+ year of experience with counting and documentation is preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in labor roles is preferred.
- 1+ year of forklift experience is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- General production experience.
- Experience in sorting, picking, and warehouse inventory.
- Experience with RF scanners.

Work Environment
You will work the 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, in a sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment. This setting has a moderate noise level, and you will be required to wear steel-toed shoes and pants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
