Combine your parts expertise with top-tier customer service and scheduling skills in this dynamic dual-role position. You’ll keep our customers’ equipment running smoothly by sourcing and delivering parts, managing inventory, scheduling preventative maintenance, generating accurate quotes, and handling warranty submissions—all while building strong relationships and supporting our service team.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Management & Customer Support
- Order, process, and pull parts for customers, road technicians, and shop personnel.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Source parts to deliver the best value for customers without compromising quality.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
- Foster long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Perform light-duty packing/loading of parts or equipment as needed.
Service Quoting & Administration
- Generate accurate, detailed quotes for all service-related work.
- Submit and track warranty claims, coordinating with technicians to ensure timely payment.
- Collaborate with customer service reps to keep accounts active and satisfied.
Team & Operational Excellence
- Be a reliable, self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitask effectively, prioritize urgently, and follow through consistently.
- Work independently when required while supporting overall department goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills (experience required).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to function in a high-energy setting.
- Mechanical aptitude a plus; comfortable discussing equipment and parts.
- Computer proficiency:
- In-house business/database software (training provided).
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Accurate data entry and quote generation.
- Stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and perform occasional light packing/loading.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette, clear communication, and follow-through.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results under deadline.
