Pay Rate: $65–$72/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Location: Onsite in Phoenix 85054
Duration: At least 5 months
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a temporary assignment supporting a dynamic healthcare operation in Phoenix. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of pharmacy care in a collaborative and innovative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate new orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness
• Provide clinical support to intake teams and patients
• Conduct patient drug counseling
• Execute and contribute to clinical programs and educational content
• Support payer utilization management processes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and internal teams
• Perform system testing and assist with reporting
• Manage prior authorization denials and appeals
• Maintain compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards

Requirements

• Active pharmacist license with at least 2 years of experience
• RPh or PharmD
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience interacting with physicians and patients via phone
• High computer literacy and strategic thinking ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managed care or PBM settings
• Familiarity with specialty medications and utilization management
• Background in creating patient education materials
• Experience in data analysis and policy development
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment
