Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations as part of a healthcare team in a contract role based in Newark, Ohio. This position requires a professional with strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vascular imaging services in compliance with regulatory standards. The work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited institution with registration or eligibility for registration through ARDMS (RVT preferred) or CCI (RVS) within 90 days of hire
- Minimum of two years experience under supervision of a qualified vascular physician or in a vascular lab preferred
- Completion of at least 15 hours of CME every three years in line with IAC standards
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians
- Operate imaging and medical record systems safely and accurately
- Position and transport patients with care to ensure safety and comfort
- Assist physicians during special vascular lab procedures
- Maintain compliance with institutional and regulatory standards including IAC
- Support training and orientation of students and new staff
- Uphold a safe, clean working environment through adherence to cleaning and disinfection protocols
- Practice family-centered care and engage in service recovery as necessary
- Contribute positively to a collaborative work environment that values empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork
