About the Role:

As an Automotive Sales Associate based in Decatur, DeKalb County, ATL, you will play a pivotal role in driving vehicle sales and delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary objective will be to guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. You will leverage your knowledge of automotive products and market trends to match customers with vehicles that meet their needs and preferences. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be essential to foster repeat business and referrals. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute directly to the dealership’s sales targets and overall reputation within the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in automotive or related industries.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an automotive sales associate or in a dealership environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive financing and leasing options.
  • Knowledge of local market trends and competitor vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the dealership.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand customer preferences and requirements.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and financing options effectively.
  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, promotions, and competitor offerings.
  • Follow up with prospective and existing customers to nurture relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the finance and service departments to facilitate smooth transaction processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Document all sales activities and customer interactions accurately in the dealership’s CRM system.
