Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Licensing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is vital in supporting compliance and licensing operations across the U.S.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with state medical boards, maintaining accurate records, and managing multiple deadlines with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure telemedicine compliance for all U.S. states
  • Manage and organize the state licensing of medical providers
  • Manage providers' licensing renewals
  • Manage malpractice for medical providers
  • Manage collaborations between midlevels and supervising MDs
  • Participate in the development of internal licensing, credentialing, and workflow processes
  • Keep adequate records in licensing software platforms
  • Keep licensing platforms up to date, accurate, and organized
  • Record and store provider, compliance, and licensing information
  • Extensive daily use of Google Drive, spreadsheets, and Chrome
  • Call medical boards for compliance and licensing updates
  • Attend team meetings via Google Meet


Tasks Include

  • Compliance: Quarterly review of all U.S. state telemedicine and general/family medicine requirements. Research medical board sites and call boards when necessary for NP, PA, and MD compliance updates.
  • Google Folders: Maintain accurate provider folders with current documents such as licenses, DEA, COI, NCCPA, ANCC/AANP, driver’s licenses, passports, etc.
  • Modio: Maintain provider profiles in Modio. Enter and update all required documents. Link supervising MDs to midlevels and reflect collaborations accurately.
  • Malpractice: Complete initial and renewal malpractice applications. Ensure COIs are updated in the master document, Google Drive, and Modio.
  • Licensing: Complete state license, DEA, and certification applications and renewals. Maintain notes and call boards when needed.
  • Collabs: Check Adobe daily for signed collaborative agreements. Upload and store documents in Google Drive, Modio, and the master document.
  • Master Document: Update and organize provider tracking daily.
  • End of Day (EOD) Reports: Submit detailed daily reports outlining completed work and status updates for team visibility.

  • 8 hour shift
