Position Details:Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
Licensure: It is the individual's responsibility to secure and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged standing and walking are necessary during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat is essential for performing duties.
Experience and Certifications:
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required or must be completed within 30 days of hire.
Depending on the specific position or unit, additional certifications may be necessary, including:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required.
