Position Overview

As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment, including:

• Diesel heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.)
• Concrete construction equipment (mixers, pumps, saws, etc.)
• Company vehicles (light-duty and medium-duty trucks)
• Your expertise will ensure our crews have reliable equipment to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Service and troubleshoot concrete construction equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with field teams to address urgent repair needs

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy diesel equipment and concrete construction machinery
• Must provide all your own tools
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• CDL preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
