Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Hawaii, requiring a current HI RN license and critical care certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a 9-bed adult ICU with occasional stable pediatric patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2, with potential for 1:3-4 if covering med/surg overflow
- 12-hour day or night shifts are available
- Schedule is 72 hours every two weeks over a 13-week contract
- Minimum of three nurses per shift
- May float to other departments to assist as needed but will not take a full patient team in those areas
- Unit occasionally cares for stable pediatric patients, but unstable pediatric cases are transferred to a higher level of care
- Additional pay may be provided if assigned charge nurse duties
- No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
- References must be provided via email for consideration

- Active and current HI RN license
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience in critical care and intensive care nursing
