We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable AP/AR Clerk to join our team in San Jose, CA. This full-time, day-shift, temp-to-hire position is responsible for managing both incoming customer payments and outgoing vendor bills to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. The schedule runs Monday–Friday, and the role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent communication with customers and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Process, record, and track incoming customer payments and outgoing vendor invoices.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.
- Review, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
- Communicate professionally with customers and vendors regarding payment status and billing questions.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
Requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and customer interactions.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday during standard day-shift hours.
- Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
