Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm (40 hours), no weekends and no on call. Great work life balance and new higher pay rate!
A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse at The Arc Wayne:
- Assesses health related needs of individuals. Coordinates with health care providers, service providers, clinical and program staff to meet individual's health related needs.
- Functions as a member of individual's program planning team to ensure all medical/clinical and dietary needs are identified and provided for in each individual service plan
- Ensures that all medical/health concerns, treatments and recommendations are properly documented and follow-up is completed.
- Participates in admission planning to insure that all health related needs, treatment and referrals to other providers are met
- Provides staff education and certification in health related areas to include but not limited to; general medical overview, medication administration certification, and diabetic certification.
- Assists with TB testing and monitoring of staff.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Current valid NYS licensed Registered Nurse
- Must possess a current, valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency driver standards
