Department: Laboratory - Outpatient Center

Hours: Part-Time/30 hours (This is a benefits eligible position).

Shift: Days, Monday-Friday 11:30am-5:30pm with an alternating Saturday 7am-12pm
Position Summary:
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKG's, order entry, and specimen processing.
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma, or equivalent

Phlebotomy certificate or 1 years’ experience is preferred

Basic computer skills

Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups

2 years' experience with adult education and instructional design
