Job DescriptionSummary

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for the success of their assigned territory, ensuring the effective management of the Regional Account Coordinator (RAC) Team, driver performance, and customer satisfaction. Regular travel to all parts of the territory to have face-to-face interaction with RACs and clients is necessary for success. The role requires a strategic leader with strong logistical expertise and a proven track record in account management. Candidates must be located in the Indianapolis, IN area to be considered for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of RAC team:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Regional Account Coordinator team to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintaining regular communication with RACs is essential to maintain service levels and keep RACs performing as expected.
  • Regular ‘In-Person’ visits on set basis is critical to maintain culture of support and adherence to guidelines set forth.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyal.
  • Regular visits on site to maintain healthy relationships with Principles of each client is necessary.
  • Driver Performance:
  • Monitor and evaluate driver performance, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Invoicing and Route Changes:
  • Oversee the invoicing process and ensure that route changes are communicated clearly and effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Margin Management:
  • Analyze and manage the margin on territory accounts, identifying opportunities for improvement and maximizing profitability.
  • Communication and Call Schedule:
  • Establish and maintain proper communication channels within the team, including a structured call schedule to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Collaboration with Client Services:
  • Work closely with the Client Services team to participate in business reviews, contributing insights and strategies for continuous improvement and growth.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information processed.
  • Follows company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
  • Qualifications

    Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred. 5-10 years’ experience in customer service or logistics roles preferred. PBM or healthcare knowledge is helpful. Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point skills required. CRM experience a plus.

    • Proven experience in account management and team leadership
    • Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Proficient in relevant software and technology, including logistics management systems.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Work Environment

    This role is a hybrid position with frequent travel expectations within the U.S. estimated at 75% per year. The emphasis is on travel for impact. Due to the nature of operations, hours of work flexibility is required to maintain a high level of client service to support a 24/7 operation.
