Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across various production lines. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, vision inspection systems, and high-voltage systems, while providing exceptional service to internal teams and customers alike.


Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and control panels to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, vision inspection systems, and calibration devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work with industrial control systems including distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machinery, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support manufacturing operations.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, AutoCAD drawings, and electrical diagrams for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Conduct field service activities at various locations within the facility or at customer sites as needed.
  • Collaborate with mechanical teams on hydraulic systems and mechanical components to facilitate integrated maintenance solutions.
  • Support high voltage electrical work safely following industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all electrical work activities while promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or electrical technician within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) applications.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, vision inspection systems, distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machinery, and calibration procedures.
  • Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, AutoCAD drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to hydraulic systems and mechanical components is highly desirable.
  • Military background or experience in regulated environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
