If you are looking for someplace to spend a career, we are looking for a full-time Hitch, Trailer and Automotive Mechanic/Installer - Working Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the guidance of other installers, dispatching, training and installation of hitches, electrical components and wiring on vehicles, tow-able trailers and snow equipment. You will also troubleshoot, service and repair tow-able trailers, snow and other automotive equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Guides, manages and trains other installers to perform work accurately, safely & proficiently
• Assists in the scheduling of the work to be performed daily for the installer team
• Keeps safety as a strong focus for all employees
• Performs and trains a full range of skilled tow-able trailer repair work for personal and commercial trailers, such as welding, electrical system troubleshooting, axle, suspension and brake repair.
• Installs new and and/or repair snowplows, salt spreaders and other snow equipment
• Perform routine vehicle and trailer maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Determine estimates on work to be performed
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
• Instructs operators in the proper operation and servicing of their equipment
• Performs some welding work
• Keeps records and creates reports pertaining to repairs performed

Qualifications:

• Honest, punctual and DEPENDABLE
• Previous experience as an working manager, installer/mechanic
• Maintains a teamwork focus for all employees
• Knowledge of trailers, vehicles and electrical wiring
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Welding experience a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years related experience
• Excellent verbal and communications skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
