Shop Hand
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77039
Schedule : 8AM to 5PM, M-F
We are seeking a Shop Hand to join a growing industrial firm in North Houston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, fast paced enviroments, is mechanically inclined, and wants to learn and grow in the fabrication trade.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hand tools and power tools (grinders, wire wheels, drills, bandsaw, etc.)
- Cutting material
- Prepare materials and clean parts
- Help move and position metal components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and shop procedures
- Operate Forklift
Qualifications:
- Experience with tools is required
- Must be dependable and willing to learn
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Safety-minded and team-oriented
- Ability to handle physical workload
