Position Summary:
The Strategic Pharmacy Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing strategic pharmacy relationships, including 340B relationships, while supporting growth of Damien Pharmacy by identifying potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives. The individual in this role will work closely with the Chief Pharmacy Officer to develop a strategic plan. This role combines account management along with the expansion of the market presence of Damien Pharmacy.

- Market Knowledge:
- Maintain current and accurate knowledge of pharmacy operations, 340B eligibility and requirements, and medical practice expectations as related to Damien Center growth potential
- Conduct regular landscape analysis of pharmacies, medical practices, Community Health Centers (CHC), HIV providers, and other potential partners
- Maintain active tracking of potential partners, contacts, and possible collaborative or merger opportunities
- Account Management & Growth
- Develop and execute account plans to increase revenue including identifying new revenue opportunities through 340B contract pharmacy partnerships, provider contract arrangements and other direct service partnerships
- Serve as the primary liaison for maintaining Damien Pharmacy strategic business accounts
- Explore options for Damien Center to offer expanded telehealth services that focus on pharmacy expansion and/or mail order delivery
- Identify opportunities to expand services provided directly to Damien Pharmacy clients.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support
- Identify opportunities for potential acquisitions and/or mergers, assessing operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Developing proformas for potential mergers and acquisitions in collaboration with the Chief Finance Officer
- Provide strategic input on integration plans for acquired entities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Planning
- Analyze market trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain active strategic expansion tracking tools that includes Indiana and surrounding states
- Design and implement pharmacy strategies that align with Damien Center objectives and organizational growth initiatives.
- Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy leadership teams and covered entities.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations, including 340B impact assessments.
- Provide consultative support on clinical programs, cost containment, and operational efficiencies.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track and report on KPIs for assigned accounts, including 340B savings, compliance metrics, and post-M&A performance.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years in pharmacy operations, account management, or healthcare consulting.
- Proven experience with 340B program management and contract pharmacy arrangements or the ability to quickly learn.
- Exposure to merger and acquisitions processes, including due diligence and integration.
- Strong understanding of 340B regulations, pharmacy benefit management, and healthcare compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.

Possess superior organizational and administrative skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Possess a strategic thinking and client-centric approach to conducting business. Have business development and M&A acumen. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Ability to work independently and achieve high standards of productivity, achieving deadlines and with superior product results. Strong calendaring, organizational, and document management skills required. Proactive approach to solving problems and communicating with leadership. Knowledge of office management systems, procedures, and office equipment required. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

- Salary: $97-103,000 annually
