Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
\n
• Work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Float to multiple in-patient units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Orthopedic/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Unit
\n• Every other weekend and holiday schedule required
\n• Current Wisconsin nursing license required
\n• NIHSS certification required
\n• CPR/BLS certification required
\n• Flu vaccination required
\n• Experience as a travel nurse preferred
\n• Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
\n• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies
\n• Document according to standards of care
\n• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care
\n• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
\n• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support longitudinal patient care
\n• Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately
