Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring Idaho or compact RN licensure and night shift availability.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- EPIC EMR experience is preferred
- Deliver and document comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Prioritize, delegate, and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
- No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this position
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
- First-time travelers will be considered
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active Idaho or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Strong computer skills, including use of EMR systems
- Ability to work in a busy, high-stress environment
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible
- Former permanent staff must have at least a 1-year gap before returning as travelers
