Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-quality, full-service Italian restaurant in Staten Island, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven background in restaurant management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of overseeing both operational and team performance to ensure excellence in service, food quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service and exceptional guest experiences.
Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to achieve high performance.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and professional team.
Monitor and ensure quality of food, service, and presentation.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
Implement and maintain operational policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Foster a welcoming, high-energy, and customer-focused dining environment.
Collaborate with kitchen leadership on menu updates, specials, and operational improvements.
Address guest concerns and feedback promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager, preferably in Italian or upscale dining environments.
Strong leadership, team-building, and staff development skills.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and operational metrics.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
