Teachers Now is currently hiring dependable and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to serve schools throughout Dallas, TX and nearby communities. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting student learning and maintaining instructional continuity when teachers are absent.
Pay & Compensation
$90–$120 per day
(Based on education level and/or teaching certification)
What You’ll Do

Lead classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the regular teacher

Maintain a structured, engaging, and positive classroom environment

Encourage student participation and manage classroom behavior effectively
-
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds
-
Assign and review classwork and homework aligned with learning objectives

Record attendance and communicate concerns to school administrators

Collaborate with staff to support student academic and behavioral goals

For long-term roles, develop and deliver your own lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum
Schedule & Availability

Monday through Friday availability required
-
Full Day: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Half Day: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 11:30 PM – 4:00 PM
What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s degree (required)

Bachelor’s degree or valid Texas Teacher Certification (preferred)
-
At least 1 year of classroom or childcare experience
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
