A full-time position is available for a School Psychologist dedicated to serving an elementary school caseload. The role begins on August 20th and runs through the full school year on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological testing and providing counseling services to an assigned caseload of no more than 20 students. The psychologist will work standard school hours from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments and counseling at the elementary level
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students, staff, and parents
- Leadership abilities to help guide intervention strategies and support school initiatives
- Ability to manage a manageable caseload of up to 20 students with diverse needs
Location: Elementary school setting in Bridgeport, Connecticut
