- Weekends: Every other weekend
The MCU is a 29-bed Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit. RNs on this unit are Telemetry-, ACLS-, and NIHSS-certified.
The patient population is diverse and includes:
- Post–interventional cardiac catheterization
- Acute MI
- CHF
- COPD
- Acute stroke
- Stable arrhythmias
- Patients requiring closer cardiac monitoring and frequent assessments
Certifications & Licensure\n\nRequired:\n\nActive Wisconsin RN License or Compact RN License (NLC)\n\nAHA Basic Life Support (BLS)\n\nAHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
